Condition for the award is an artistic profession. Only applications from artists, not associations or institutions, will be accepted. Projects with a connection to South Tyrol or artists who have a biographical connection to South Tyrol will be considered. As the awards are also intended to promote production, only projects that have not yet been carried out or are unfinished will be considered.
For applicants to submit:
The benno barth award is worth 15,000 euros.
It is at the discretion of the jury to allocate the contribution to a single project or, if necessary, to divide it.
The winners commit themselves to present their sponsored projects personally in Brixen/Bressanone on on the anniversary of the founder, 11th May 2024.
After having realized their project, the winners also agree to hand out an appropriate artistic documentation.
The form is optional. In the sense of the founder, it should be a kind of artistic diary, sketchbook, portfolio, recording from the off ..., which remains in the archives of the foundation as an artistic original.
